January 2022 COVID-19 Outbreak Update
Virginia Correctional Enterprises remains fully committed to pursuing the completion of our work in a safe, diligent and reasonable manner under the current circumstances.
VCE and most manufacturing facilities are being negatively impacted by the cumulative effect of this most recent outbreak. Impacts include labor shortages due to rising positive cases or quarantine as well as material shortages and significant delays in lead times as a result of vendor factory closings, supply chain obstacles and transportation issues.
As a result VCE may not be able to meet current project timelines. Your understanding is appreciated as we work our way through this unprecedented event.
Thank you again for helping us improve the lives of our inmate staff through your gracious patronage!

Virginia Correctional Enterprises (VCE) is proud to report that the Commission on Accreditation of the American Correctional Association (ACA) voted to fully accredit VCE on March 16, 2021.
ACA accreditation is part of VCE’s commitment to excellence through continuous improvement and ongoing compliance with the ACA Performance-Based Standards for Correctional Industries which include life, health, and safety standards as it pertains to staff and inmates.
The ACA Accreditation process promotes improvement in the management of correctional agencies through the administration of a voluntary accreditation program and the ongoing development and revision of relevant, useful standards. The standards, created and continuously refined by the ACA, represent leading correctional policies, procedures, and practices across all areas of operation.
