Document Conversion Services at the Fluvanna Correctional Center for Women

At Virginia Correctional Enterprises (VCE), the Document Conversion Shop at the Fluvanna Correctional Center for Women is dedicated to meeting the file management needs of our clients, with a special focus on facilitating the transition from paper to digital formats.

Document Scanning & File Creation

VCE's Document Conversion team is equipped to scan and prepare a wide range of documents, from business card-sized records to large documents up to 42 inches in width. We also convert digital images from slides, producing high-quality images in the format that best suits each client's needs. All scans are performed at a minimum resolution of 300 dpi, with options for Grayscale and Color scanning.

Document Conversion Services

We offer advanced Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for full text search and retrieval, either during the scanning process or for previously digitized documents.

File Format Conversion

VCE provides file conversion services, enabling the transfer of documents from one digital format to another, such as TIFF to PDF, JPEG to PDF, and more.

Architectural & Engineering Drawings

Our team is equipped to scan Architectural and Engineering drawings using four large-format scanners that support Black & White, Grayscale, and Color outputs. We also offer Raster to Vector conversion, allowing these drawings to be integrated into CAD systems. Additionally, our CAD department provides assistance with updating and correcting these drawings. We employ ADDA-certified drafters to ensure high-quality results.

Data Entry & Indexing

In addition to scanning, we provide data entry and indexing services to capture metadata from your digital files, enhancing their usability and organization.
